To make exploring easy, we've organized Hello Teacher Ellie into nine Doors.
Each one opens to a different place to learn, create, explore, and wonder together.
Our Doors
Every Child Can Learn Here
Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and capable. Through social-emotional learning, ASL, AAC awareness, visual supports, and thoughtful teaching, we meet each child where they are today—and celebrate every step forward together. Every child deserves to feel welcome, capable, and loved. At Hello Teacher Ellie, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and accepted for exactly who they are. We celebrate each child's unique strengths, interests, and learning style, meeting them where they are and gently helping them grow with confidence, curiosity, and wonder.
❤️ Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
Learning isn't just about letters and numbers. Children are also learning how to understand their feelings, solve problems, build confidence, show kindness, and care for others. SEL stands for Social-Emotional Learning—the everyday life skills that help children thrive at home, in school, and in the world.
🤟 American Sign Language (ASL)
We naturally weave simple American Sign Language (ASL) into songs, stories, and everyday learning. Learning a few signs gives all children another way to communicate, connect, and understand one another while creating a more welcoming environment for everyone.
💬 Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
Some children communicate using picture cards, communication books, tablets, or speech-generating devices. These tools are called AAC, which stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. At Hello Teacher Ellie, we believe every child has something important to say, and every voice deserves to be heard.
🌱 Every Child Learns Differently
Children grow at different speeds and in different ways—and that's exactly how it should be. We celebrate progress, encourage trying, and never expect every child to learn the same thing in the same way on the same day.
🌼 Growing Kind Hearts
Through books, music, creative play, and shared experiences, children practice friendship, patience, empathy, taking turns, listening, encouraging others, and working together—one small moment at a time.
🐝 You Bee You
Every child is wonderfully unique. Some children learn by building, some by singing, some by moving, some by listening, and some in ways that may surprise us all. At Hello Teacher Ellie, we celebrate each child's unique strengths, interests, personality, and way of learning. We gently encourage every child to grow with confidence while reminding them that they never have to become someone else to belong here.

Books Open Doors
At Hello Teacher Ellie, we help Littles build the strong foundations that make reading and writing possible.
📖 Listening & Language
Children build reading skills long before they read their first word. Listening, talking, asking questions, and learning new vocabulary are all part of becoming a reader.
🔤 Letters, Sounds & Print
We explore alphabet knowledge, beginning sounds, rhymes, print awareness, and the many little discoveries that prepare children for reading.
✏️ Pre-Writing Skills
Strong readers often begin as little creators. Drawing, painting, tracing, building hand strength, and developing fine-motor coordination all help prepare children for writing.
💬 Growing Language Together
Every conversation matters. We encourage meaningful questions, thoughtful discussions, storytelling, and sharing ideas to strengthen language and confidence.
📚 Books Open Doors
Wonderful books introduce new words, new ideas, new places, and new possibilities. Together we build not only reading skills—but a lifelong relationship with books.

STEM & Discovery
Children are natural wonderers. They ask BIG questions, notice little details, solve problems, and delight in discovering how the world works.
At Hello Teacher Ellie, we nurture curiosity through nature, science, math, and hands-on exploration—because every great adventure begins with wondering.
🔎 Asking BIG Questions
"I wonder why?" and "How does that happen?" are where every great discovery begins. We encourage Littles to think deeply, ask boldly, and stay curious.
🦋 Observing Like Scientists
Children learn by looking closely, noticing patterns, making predictions, comparing, and testing their ideas about the world around them.
🌿 Nature Explorations
From butterflies and birds to flowers, frogs, weather, rocks, and seasons, nature gives us endless opportunities to wonder, discover, and learn together.
🔢 Math Everywhere
Math is all around us! We count, sort, measure, compare, recognize patterns, explore shapes, and solve problems through meaningful, everyday experiences.
🧪 Hands-On Discoveries
Building, experimenting, creating, testing, and trying again help children develop confidence, perseverance, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning.
🌎 BIG Words for Little Explorers
We believe Littles can Go BIG. Words like bioluminescence, habitat, metamorphosis, constellation, and pollination become exciting adventures instead of intimidating vocabulary. Every new word opens another door to understanding.

The ART Studio
Children are naturally creative. Our Art Studio invites Littles to imagine, explore, experiment, create, and express themselves with confidence. Curiosity is encouraged, different is celebrated, and there are no mistakes—only a new ‘something’ just starting!

Music & Movement
Children learn with their whole bodies. When they sing, move, clap, dance, play, and explore, learning becomes joyful, meaningful, and memorable. Through music and movement, Littles build coordination, confidence, rhythm, listening skills, self-expression, and a lifelong love of music.
